Raven x Male reader! Lost and Found! Part 2

ENJOY!  (kinda long btw)





You start going through the forest, finding tons of grimm along the way, but slashing them down was no biggie for you.  After a couple of hours of slashing down grimm, you figured you'd set up in a tree for the night since it was getting dark.  You find a super tall tree and climb near the top.  You set your bag hanging on a branch next to you.  You pull out a sharpening stone and start to sharpen your blade, as you've done every night for the past 4 years.  



(y/n): I can't believe Summer...She's gone... I need to find Raven...  I need answers... And poor Qrow... He seemed really beat up about it too...





You continued to sharpen your blade until you could cut steel with it.  After that, you just sit on the branch, looking at the stars till you fall asleep...





3:00am.





You start twisting and turning...





DREAM:





You were sitting in a house... A house you've never seen before... But it was a nice house.  All of a sudden Raven walked out from what seemed to be the kitchen.





(y/n): RAVEN?!


Raven: Oh, hey babe~


(y/n): Babe?! What are you talking about? Look, Qrow and I have been looking for you for years! Where have you been?


Raven: What are you talking about (y/n)? I've been here the whole time.


(y/n): No... I was jus-


Little girl: Look mommy! I made this for daddy!


Raven: That's very nice! Show your father.


(y/n): FATHER?!



Raven gave you a scowl... You weren't sure what was going on, but you decided to go along with it.



(y/n): T-that's really nice of you... sweetheart, thanks!


Little girl: Thanks daddy!


Raven: Alright... Now go play with your friends outside, I need to talk to your father for a sec.


Little girl: Ok!




The little girl then leaves and heads outside.




Raven: What's your problem (y/n)?


(y/n): Raven, I don't know what's going on... I remember sitting on a tree after searching for you day after day! That's what I've been doing for YEARS! Did I lose my memory or something?


Raven: (y/n)? We've been together since we graduated.


(y/n): W-what?!


Raven: Yeah, after our one night stand, I decided I loved you... and so we graduated and got busy~ Now we have this wonderful house and a beautiful daughter.


(y/n): I-I... don't remember any of it?


Raven: Are you sure you're ok babe? I'm gonna check your temperature-


(y/n): Wait!


Raven: What?


(y/n): You said we got together after we graduated right?


Raven: Yeah.


(y/n): ... I never graduated... I ran away because you were going to be with Tai... This is all just a dream!


Raven: What? That's cra-





Just then you smack yourself a couple of times... and sure enough, you woke up... Still sitting in that tree...





(y/n): Raven...





You start to just sit in your sorrow... You were tired of searching... You just wanted to be with her... You missed her oh so much...





TIMESKIP TO THE NEXT MORNING.





You woke up, apparently you were able to fall back asleep and not have that dream again.  You grab your bag and jump down from the tree, and continue to search the humungous forest you were in... You keep moving forward... Slashing grimm... Mapping where you were... And looking for her... This is what you did... Day by day...













TIMESKIP 10 YEARS LATER!!! (sorry for the huge timeskip, but I gotta get the plot along)





You wake up to the sound of grimm clawing at the tree you were up in.





(y/n): Just another day in this damn place.





You were a little more upbeat than before... After spending a year in this forest, you really started to lose faith that you would ever find her... But you never left... You stayed searching that forest... It turned into your life... Everyday trying to tell yourself you'll find her... You won't rest until you find her... even if she is dead for some reason.. You won't stop until you find her body if that's the case... It had been a couple years since you talked to Qrow, and almost 15 years since you last saw him.  And right on cue, you get a call from him..





(y/n): Qrow?!


Qrow: Dude! Hey man, what's going on?


(y/n): Oh, nothing much, just the usual.


Qrow: Are you stil-


(y/n): Yeah... Everyday I try to tell myself I'll find her today... But that's what I've said for the past 10 years... I need to find her Qrow...


Qrow: Dude, you've gotten completely obsessed with this search! It's been over a decade! You need to come home, you can't waste your life like this!


(y/n): I'll do what I wa-


Qrow: I really need you back here (y/n)... We gotta talk... it's big...


(y/n): But-


Qrow: No buts! I need you! Remnant needs you! I don't know anyone who has the sword skill you do! Please... We're like brothers aren't we? ... Please..





You thought long and hard...





(y/n): ...Ok...Fine


Qrow: Yes! Great! Meet me at the same bar from 15 years ago.


(y/n): Damn man, I'm closer to Vale at this point, I'll just stop at Vale


Qrow: I'm not in Vale at the moment...


(y/n): Well then get there! I've traveled my ass for 15 years, the least you could do was meet me in Vale...After all, you're the one who wants me over, so you come to me...


Qrow: ...Fine.


(y/n): Meet you at the Crow Bar tomorrow at 9pm... Don't be late Birdy


Qrow: Ha the Crow Bar! haven't been there in ages! Alright, it's a date then.


(y/n): Oh shut up bird face.


Qrow: Haha, alright, see you then!





You and Qrow hang up... You look to the sky..





(y/n): I've let this search control me for too long... I may never find her... And I may need to accept that...





You grab your things and start to head out of the forest... It took you most of the night, but once you made it through, you were right across from the Emerald forest actually.





(y/n): Wow...Feels like just yesterday it was initiation day at Beacon...





FLASHBACK:





Qrow: Yes! I'm ready!


(y/n): Yeah, because when you get launched, you can just turn into a crow, grab the item, and make it back to the headmaster without actually teaming up with anyone.


Qrow: Nah, that'd be too easy... I won't use my semblance... But I still hope we become partners!


(y/n): Me too!





FLASHBACK ENDS.





You make your way out of Emerald forest and make it to the front of the academy... It was 3:00am





(y/n): Well this place hasn't changed a bit.


???: It's been a long time (y/n)...





You turn around to see a man who has hardly changed.





(y/n): Ozzy! What's up!


Ozpin: Hello (y/n), It's been far too long.


(y/n): Agreed... What are you doing up so early?


Ozpin: Well...I'm headmaster... and Qrow said you'd be coming sooner or later... Just didn't think it'd be this early.


(y/n): Well, I told Qrow I'd meet him at the Crow Bar at 9pm today...


Ozpin: ...You do know what time it is right?


(y/n): Yup, only got another 16 hours.


Ozpin: Wow, some things never change.


(y/n): Well...I haven't been myself in so long... Being in front of the school just brings back all these memories... and who I was before... the search...


Ozpin: Look (y/n)... We all miss Raven and want her back...Her daughter more than anyone.


(y/n): That's right, her and Tai had a daughter...


Ozpin: Yeah... She goes here, at Beacon... She looks just like her...


(y/n): That doesn't surprise me...


Ozpin: ...Would you like to meet her?


(y/n): Not right now... I need to talk to Qrow first, he said it was important.


Ozpin: Well why don't you stay here at Beacon for the day?  The Vytal festival starts today and you don't have to see Qrow till tonight.


(y/n): Alright, sure, I guess.


Ozpin: Alright, come with me to my office, we can catch up!


(y/n): Sure.





With that, you leave with Ozpin to his office...





TIMESKIP TO 9am





You and Oz were drinking coffee (you were drinking it to stay awake) and laughing about the good old days when some nicely dressed man walked in.





???: Good morni- Who is this?


Ozpin: This is an old friend of mine, (y/n).


???: Wait, the guy who uses a reverse blade?


Ozpin: That's him


???: I've heard stories about when you, Oz, and Qrow were in school here


(y/n): Thanks...Who are you?


???: Excuse me, where are my manners... I'm James Ironwood, General of Atlas military and headmaster at Atlas Academy.


(y/n): I see... Well, It's nice to meet you too... I guess Ozpin talks about me?


Ironwood: He's only ever talked about you once.  When you and Qrow tried to sneak into a girls dorm room, and Oz caught you cause he was getting back from another girls dorm?


(y/n): Hey, I thought that story was between us Oz!


Ozpin: Well someone had to tell the wonderful tale.  And neither you or Qrow were here to do so.


(y/n): Fine... Anyway, whatcha got me doing today?


Ozpin: Well, you can roam around yourself, or go up and watch all the matches today.


(y/n): I think I'll go see the matches


Ozpin: Alright, well you have my scroll number if you need to contact me.


(y/n): Will do!





you then leave the office and head up to the arena.  You had to board a ship from the campus to the arena.  Throughout the day, you just sat and watched all the matches, looking to see what team you thought would win and who was the best fighter of the team.





Oobleck: Team RWBY wins the match!



(y/n): Huh, they weren't half bad.




Oobleck: Next up is Team JNPR vs Team BRNZ!




(y/n): I think It's time for me to go call Qrow, make sure he's on schedule.





You call him on your scroll.



Qrow: U-uh h-hello?


(y/n): Qrow, It's me


Qrow: Hey man! W-what's u-up


(y/n): ...Are you drunk?


Qrow: When am I not?! HAHA!


(y/n): ...You're already drinking at the Crow Bar aren't you?


Qrow: ...Maybe?


(y/n): Way to go, you got drunk 3 hours early!


Qrow: I just thought I'd kill some time. Anyway, why don-


(y/n): I know I know, I'll head over now-


Qrow: On second thought, where are you?


(y/n): At the arena, watching matches for the Vytal festival, why?


Qrow: You're at Beacon?!


(y/n): Y-yeah?


Qrow: Damn you move fast... Alright, I'll actually meet you there.


(y/n): U-uh, ok.




You and Qrow hang up and sit back down in your seat, watching some girl hammer the entire team into the wall.





(y/n): Well damn, her teammates know not to get on her bad side...





You look at the time.





(y/n): I should probably head down and wait for Qrow to arrive.





You leave the arena and board one of the ships.  When you get down to the campus, you see Qrow going at it with some lady in all white.





(y/n): Huh, he doesn't look much different, kinda got a 5 o clock shadow going on that bird face of his though





You watch him fight her, it didn't last much longer cause that Ironwood guy ruined the fun.





You're about to go walk over to him when you see some girl in black and red jump on his arm.





(y/n): (thinking) Is that her? Same hair color almost, but looks nothing like her.





Ozpin: Qrow... A word please.


Qrow: I think I'm in trouble.


Girl in black and red: You did kinda tear up our courtyard


Qrow: I did didn't I? Catch ya later kiddo





Qrow starts to walk towards Ozpin.  He still didn't see you... You decide to stick your foot out and trip him.  The girl in black and red spotted you and called you out.



Girl in black and red: Hey!


Qrow: You better watch yourself befor-  (Y/N)!!!!





Qrow basically jumped at you and gave you a big bro hug.





Qrow: Dude! I missed you so much!


(y/n): Right back at ya birdy!


Girl in black and red: Uncle Qrow, who is this?


Qrow: He's a long time friend of mine and your mom and dad.


Girl in black and red: Oh... Hi, I'm Ruby, Ruby Rose.


(y/n): Rose?!


Ruby: U-uh yeah.


(y/n): ... Qrow, what the hell is going on?


Qrow: Hey, watch your language in front of the kids! Come on, let's go to Oz's office.


(y/n): Alright.. It was nice to meet you...Ruby Rose.


Ruby: Nice to meet you too!





You and Qrow go to Ozpin's and Qrow and Ironwood are just arguing the whole time.  Eventually, the Schnee is asked to leave, and you too





Qrow: No, (y/n) can stay.


Ozpin: don't get me wrong, I want to fill him in... But it seems he's thinking about other things.





They all look at you, and you're still looking out the window...that's what you've been doing since you and Qrow walking in there.





Qrow: Hey, (y/n)?


(y/n): ...U-uh yeah?


Qrow: You been zoned out this whole time?


(y/n): Uh yeah, sorry... just got stuff on my mind...


Ozpin: It's understandable, after all, Qrow probably told you about Raven's daughter-


Qrow: NO OZ, I HAVEN'T HAD TIME!


(y/n): What are you talking about?


Qrow: ...Come on (y/n)... We gotta talk...


(y/n): It's about time.





You and Qrow head down the elevator and start walking to one of the dorms.. Qrow just texted someone.





Qrow: Tai is on his way.


(y/n): Cool... but what's going on...


Qrow: We'll talk once we get where we're going.


(y/n): O-ok.





You and Qrow keep walking for a couple of minutes.  You walk into a dormitory and go up a few flights of stairs.  You walk down a hall and Qrow knocks on one of the doors.





(y/n): Who are we going to see?





Just then... A blonde girl opens the door... It didn't take you long to realize... That was Raven and Tai's girl... She looks just like her.





Blonde girl: UNCLE QROW!!!


Qrow: Hey kiddo... Can we come in?


Blonde Girl: Sure! Who's this?





Just then Ruby pops out from behind her.





Ruby: Oh, that's one of Uncle Qrow's friends.


Blonde Girl: Oh, ok!





You both walk in, and you and Qrow sit down at one of the desk chairs available in the room.





Qrow: I'm sorry to kick you two out... But I just need to talk to Yang mostly... Ruby, you can stay, but if you other two ladies don't mind.


Girl in white: Sure, come on Blake.





With that, it was just the 4 of you in the room.  Ruby, Qrow, You, and The blonde girl, apparently named Yang.





Yang: What's this about Uncle Qrow?





Just then, Tai barged into the room.





Tai: I'M HERE, WHAT'S THE EMERGENCY?


Qrow: No emergency, I just wanted you here fast.


Tai: Oh... Why would you- (y/n)! Dude! You're alive!





You get up and bro hug Tai.





Tai: Dude, where have yo-


Qrow: He's basically been searching for "her" since I told him she left. ANYWAY, we have something much more important to talk about.


Tai: Oh, I see... What is it?


Qrow: Please Tai... have a seat.





Tai sits down looking confused as ever.





Qrow: Yang... What do you remember about your mother... Raven...





Yang looked down.





Yang: I don't really remember anything... But... I think I saw her... I think she saved me a couple of weeks back... I could tell by the sword-


(y/n): Are you sure it was her?!!


Yang: I-


Qrow: (y/n) calm down... we'll get to that later...





You sat back down...





Qrow: Tai... I'm sorry... But do you remember what we talked about a year back or so...


Tai: ...Are you serious... You're bringing it up again?!


Qrow: Well... I checked it out... did some research... and looked at-


Tai: If this is true, I'm gonna kill (y/n) myself!


Qrow: TAI! Calm down!


Tai: ... But-


Qrow: No buts... I'm sorry Tai, I really am... but it's true...





Tai just started to cry in his hands.  Ruby and Yang went to comfort him.





Yang: Uncle Qrow, what's going on, why is dad crying.





Tai tried to say it, but he couldn't bring himself to do it...





Qrow: Yang... You don't remember much from Raven... Can you think of anything that you and Tai have in common besides blonde hair?





Yang tried to think hard but actually couldn't think about it.  She never realized she had nothing in common with her father.





Yang: No... I can't think of anything... But that still doesn't answer my question! Why is dad crying?





Qrow looks at you for a sec.





Everything clicks into place in a matter of seconds.  You just gasped and you just looked at Yang for a second.





(y/n): (thinking) no way...







Qrow: I'm sorry Yang... But Tai isn't your biological father... (y/n) is...
