Blake x Male reader! In The Shadows

BACKSTORY



You're a male Fox Faunus.  You have a fox tail.  You were a member of the White Fang.  You had been since you were a kid because you were born into it.  Your parents were members, and they got together and had you while they were in the White Fang.  One day, when you were 4 or 5, your parents went on an assignment for the White Fang, but never returned.  The current leader took care of you until he stepped down from his position.  You were 12.  You were nice to everyone in the White Fang, and you were mostly liked by all...But you only had one real friend... That was Blake... Since you two were the youngest members at the time.  You worked together quite a bit... That is...Until the new leader saw interest in her... And made her like his apprentice... The new leader never really liked you because you would always talk with Blake if they weren't on a mission...



BACKSTORY ENDS...





5 years later...





You were getting back from a regular mission. It was about a month long, recruiting more people by the Haven area so you could have more members... When you got back, for some reason, half the camp was burned down, and it was just Adam and the Admin standing.





(y/n): What happened sir?



Adam: Nothing



(y/n): O-ok...Anyway, we were able to get quite a big number of more recruits, they should be in soon.



Adam: Alright good... The rest of you can go rest, I need to talk to you (y/n)



(y/n): U-uh, ok





You and Adam walk back into the tent.





Adam: ...Do you know where she went?



(y/n): Who? Who are you talking about?



Adam: Don't play dumb with me (y/n)! Where is she?!



(y/n): She who?! Blake?!



Adam: Yes! She left me during our mission a few weeks ago...Now tell me where she is, or so help me, I'll kill you right here and now!



(y/n): Sir, I don't know where she is, honestly!



Adam: Don't give me that!



(y/n): ...sigh... I don't know sir...If you want to kill me, go for it...



Adam: Excuse me?!



(y/n): You heard me! If Blake is really gone like you say, you and I both know she can hide pretty well... If she is gone, then I have no purpose left...



Adam: You loved her?



(y/n): Since I put my eyes on her...



Adam: That's...A shame...





Adam then pulls out his sword





Adam: Guess this will be a fight for love.



(y/n): Excuse me?!



Adam: Grab a sword... Winner gets to go after Blake...



(y/n): And the loser?



Adam: Dead...



(y/n): Fine.





You pick up a sword and you and Adam walk outside... You take 5 steps away from each other... He drops his shot gun so this can truly be a 1v1 sword fight... You both rush at each other with great speed.  Being a faunus has it's perks.  You have boosted agility and night vision.  Although, the speed is the other thing keeping you alive, because Adam was really handy and fast with a blade... You both go back and forth for a good chunk of time.  You were able to block most of his attacks, you had a few cuts, but you got a few on him too.  You were a fair swordsman, but you knew that Adam was better than you.  He wasn't the leader for nothing.  Eventually, he disarmed you and put his blade to your neck.





Adam: Any last words?



(y/n): None...





Adam was about to kill you when the Admin stepped in.





Admin: Wait sir!



Adam: What!



Admin: Instead of killing him... Cut his tail off...To show our fellow members what we do if they disrespect you!



Adam: ...Actually, that isn't a bad idea...





Your heart sank to your feet.  They were not only going to spare you...But they were gonna cut your tail off! That's what made you special! You wouldn't allow it! But as you got up to run...Adam picked up his shotgun and shot you in the leg.  You fell over... You looked back and saw him approach you.





Adam: Say goodbye to your fellow tail!





You closed your eyes, you knew you couldn't do much else against Adam... You were hoping that maybe the pain would be so bad it would kill you anyway...You didn't want to live anymore if you couldn't have her...Or your tail...





The pain was the worst kind of pain you had ever felt.  The second the blade touched your tail... You blacked out...







You wake up a few minutes later to being picked up by the Admin and a fellow member. You looked to your side...They were gonna throw you off the cliff... You knew then...That you were going to die... You closed your eyes as they threw you off the cliff...







TIMESKIP 2-3 DAYS.







You open your eyes to a stupid bright light.  You hide your face until your hear footsteps.  They moved the light and you looked to see who it was and where you were.





(y/n): Where am I? And who are you?



Doctor: You're at a doctors office.  Someone found you floating in the water.  They went out and got you and brought you here.  You've been here for about 2 days now.



(y/n): I see...



Doctor: We... Patched up your back end... Most of your tail was completely gone...



(y/n): Yeah...



Doctor: Were you attacked by people who don't like the faunus?



(y/n): ...You could say that...



Doctor: I'm sorry to hear that... Especially someone at your age...How old are you?



(y/n): 17...



Doctor: Do you remember anything that happened?



(y/n): I just remember getting thrown off a cliff...



Doctor: And you survived?!



(y/n): Well, I guess so, I'm here now aren't I?



Doctor: True...You did have a lot of cuts and bruises now that I think about it...



(y/n): Where am I? Which kingdom?



Doctor: You're in Vale



(y/n): I see... When can I leave?



Doctor: Uh well, you just woke up... It's about 9 pm, so try to get some rest... We'll do some tests in the morning, sound good?



(y/n): Ok...





With that, the doctor leaves and you go to sleep... Thinking about her...Blake Belladonna...





NEXT MORNING.





You woke up to the doctor coming in with a few nurses... They ran some tests, and your vitals seemed pretty consistent.  They let you leave by mid afternoon.  You got out and started walking around Vale... Looking for a place to stay or something.  Under a bridge or by a dumpster... You just wanted to find her... You loved her... She was your only friend... You would sleep for years under bridges if it meant she could be yours... But you also had to worry about the White Fang...Since they probably thought you were dead... You have to keep a low profile... So you used what money you had in your pocket.  You bought a hoodie and some food... That would probably last you a day or two...





You keep walking around.  Hoping to find some form of shelter... And just your luck, you found an abandon shed right by the docks... You walk in... It was a small like thing, but if no one uses it anymore... It was perfect... You actually found a few big rags of cloth and decided to sleep on them... Sure, they weren't the cleanest things, but better than on the wood floor...





TIMESKIP





You lived in there for a couple of days, scavenging for food whenever you could.  You also made sure no one followed you whenever you came back... Then, one night.  You started to hear some noise... You peak out the window only to find White Fang members and...Roman Torchwick? Moving cargo from the docks.





(y/n): What are they planning now?





Just then, you see someone in mostly black run up behind Torchwick...You couldn't believe your eyes! It was Blake! You wanted to go out and help, but you were still slightly injured, and honestly, it was weird without having your tail...You've been kinda depressed...But seeing Blake made you hopeful...By the time you decided to go out and help them and reveal yourself... The fight was over... Now, Blake, some dude without a shirt, some girl in black and red, and a girl with orange hair were just sitting on crates when the VPD arrived.





You left the shack through the back and went around the corner, right by the crates.  Then, some girl with blonde hair and some girl in all white walked up to them... They talked for a little bit, and just as they were about to leave, a few White Fang members emerged from the rubble and went to attack them... This is when you would reveal yourself...





White Fang member: You won't get away with this that easily!





He takes a shot at Blake.





Blonde Male: Blake look out!





She looked too late, she knew she was about to get hit.  She closed her eyes and braced for impact... But nothing... She opened her eyes, and someone was standing in front of her...





(y/n): Leave her alone...



White Fang member: You're still alive?!



(y/n): Surprised to see me? Tell the boss I said hi.  





You then rush them and take the 4 of them down in an instant.





(y/n): Guess you won't be saying hi to him after all...





You then look back... They're all looking at you... Blake's eyes were tearing up...





Blonde male: Blake, what's wrong?



Blake: (y-y/n)?





She looked down to where your tail SHOULD be and then looked back at your face.





(y/n): I know I know, my butt looks weird.





She gave a small chuckle, but then went back to tears.





Blake: W-what happened?!



(y/n): He thought I had something to do with your leaving...So... He cut my tail off...





Blake couldn't believe what she just heard... And she felt awful... She ran up and buried her face into your chest.





Blake: I...I"m so sorry (y/n)...



(y/n): Shh... It's ok Blak-





Just then, you collapse on the concrete... That shot you took for Blake took it's toll when the adrenaline rush was over...
